Dr. Yassir Sonbol

Dr. Yassir Sonbol attended the Indiana University School of Medicine. He graduated in 2001. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine, Fellowship in General Cardiology, and Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Minnesota. He served as Chief Resident in 2004 at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Sonbol is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Texas Medical Association and the Fort Bend medical society. His interests include many aspects of general and interventional cardiology. These include coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, heart rhythm abnormalities, valvular heart disease, heart failure, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and more. He is currently accepting new patients.

Kymberli Tiller grew up in Southern California where she received her Bachelor’s in Nursing at California Baptist University. With her husband serving active duty in the military, she transferred her life to Texas. In Texas, Kymberli started her career as an emergency registered nurse at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. With a passion for learning, Kymberli knew she wanted to further her knowledge and education. She became board certified in emergency medicine and finished her master’s degree at Houston Baptist University to become a family nurse practitioner. With a love for cardiology, she has now become part of Dr. Sonbol’s team by seeing patients not only in the clinic but in the hospital as well. This collaboration has allowed patients in the community to receive complete cardiology care. She looks forward to meeting each of you.
